Well it appears that Winter might hit the Houston area a bit harder then usual this year.
There is talk of ice and snow and other such things that are usually only whispered about or told as bedtime stories. A few flakes around here is enough to make the news crews make important live reports and for the weather man to pull out his slide show explaining to all the natives exactly what the white madness falling from the sky is. Sadly on those occasions the snow doesn't even stick - this time there is a good chance that there will be enough ice around for the snow to stick on the ground. I'm not sure if this city can cope with that.
I also seem to be coming down with some sort of crud. Nothing too bad, just a stealthy sore throat that seems to come and go, and some sinus congestion. Though I am tired and just want to curl up under my covers and be left alone. At least the weathers good for that right now.
