Somewhat Weekly Scribble - 46/47 - Skillywidden

Okay, sorry for the lack of action on here. It the season where Lissa goes spare and not much gets accomplished besides minor headaches. But at long last here is an update on what I've been working on besides decorating, cleaning, and baking.

I kicked around the idea of getting a print run done of some Christmas cards but that is/was a bit of a pricey gamble for me at the moment so that idea got shelved. The notion is not abandoned, but it is not happening this year.

Anyways, onto what I've been doing.

First I joined a voodoo cult )

and then after they kicked me out I worked on some jewelry. )

After that I drew some stuff )

I've also been working on other things; there are more page layout updates on The Project. In an attempt to prop up my poor shattered ego I switched to another scene that is a bit easier on me.

With that I'm going to sign off, hopefully I'll get more crap done in the future.

EDIT - Oh yea, almost forgot, I have finally broken down and registered a domain name. I am now the proud sort of owner of foolish-mortal.com

In celebration have a logo design:

Weekly Scribble - 37 - A Pig in a Cage on Antibiotics

Sorry this one is late, I really have no excuse, just the usual crap I'm not going to get into. But I am apparently coping with this situation with as much grace as a cat on a road trip. I've been mentally grinding my teeth and haven't been able to focus on much else. I have scanned the stuff in my sketchbook from this last week, I hope to have more stuff done for an art post later this week.

But moving on to more positive things that actually exist.

Kicking this around for new business cards, I really need to get this wrapped up and shipped off to the printers. Ah well.

Works in Progress Behind the Cut )

Well thats all for right now folks. Hope everyones having a better time of it than me right now.

It takes much more than wild courage Or you'll hit just the tattered clouds

I was e-mailed a couple weeks back that I had actually been moved up on the waiting list for an Artist Alley table for an upcoming convention. And then stuff got tied up, so I am not sure of the progress on that, so I'm cautiously doing abbreviated con prep in the event that it does happen.

So I've got 500 buttons laid out and ready for printing when I get more glossy paper to print on, 2 new designs to print and test as well. And I made yet another necklace. I realize that I haven't actually posted any pictures of any of the jewelry stuff I work on so I guess I might as well start sharing now.

CLICK ON FOR SHARING )

I'll get to scanning the art post soon, and then get back to cranking on the comic panelling and maybe thumbnail out the concept I came up with last night. I really wish I could do this sort of thing for a living (drawing, jewelry, comic etc etc) since I seem to be running short on hours in the day before I run out of ideas.
