lissa_quonAw shit, it's now the 13th of December? When did that happen?
I always hate the first half of December, that time when my mom tries to jumpstart the household into giving a shit out the upcoming holidays. And my siss constant status report e-mails that shows us how out of the loop the rest of us are (she started her shopping in like November before Turkey day and put up her tree the weekend of.
Though the worst is all the god damn nagging about cleaning the house, putting up the tree, and asking me what I want for Christmas when I'm too fried from finals to even know what day of the week it is or care about any upcoming holiday except 'Classes are OVAH Day'.
That said, I have like...no one's Christmas shopping done. Not even those few that are getting art pieces from me are done. I actually DID get up to the mall with Karen today but she was too sick/tired and I was so pained/tired to do much more than point to point marching to things we had previously decided on. So the shopping shall have to wait until a time when Lissa does not need a double dose of Midol to feel remotely human.
In other news, our junk food/booze/caffiene/video games New Year's Eve thing. So where are we to have it this year?
