I was hanging around my buddy Karen's house this evening sine it was my parents wedding aniversary and I thought it was best to stay out of the way. Plus I was kind of sick of the staying at home and lonely routine. Her family was having a big party so Karen and I hid in her room and wacthed a movie most of the time.

Ok, we were channel surfing and we stumbled onto the last half of the Justice League on Cartoon Network. The episode fetured the League against this guy who was invading their dreams and driving them nuts. Well after a bit I noticed the villians name was 'Dr Destiny' or John Dee. So all the sudden I realize 'wait...John Dee....holy crap...John Dee, he was in Sandman. He had the Dream Ruby or whatever and he tried to drive the world mad...that John Dee?!' So Karen and I are sitting there trying to figure out if indeed it was that John Dee and if he had the Ruby or whatever they were going to use to explain his abilities. (I'm not a big follower of the DC line so I'm not sure what Neil Gaiman added to make John Dee fit.)

Except they didn't explain, not once. True we only saw a fourth of the whole plot line but it would have been nice to know how he did it. Though the villain in his costume does indeed prove it was that John Dee.

So to make a long story hopefully shorted I say I perused some fansites and message boards on the Justice League hoping to find that someone else had the same thought path I did.
Nobody, not a soul mentioned it, not a peep. How was that possible?
