Aug. 19th, 2005 11:44 pmHave added a few minor details to the new website, not much here yet though.
Major thanks and shout out to David, he's back from his first week of college and burned me the latest Gorillaz cd and a some other cool stuff for me to use at the convention table. I so totally owe him a FLCL picture when I'm done on it.
Completed my first sale today, Thomas bought one of my 3am marker drawings. I matted it to cover up some annoyed notes to myself, he seemed happy with it. I'll be sad to see it go, as I was rather fond of that drawing, but money is money. Huzzah for my first sale.
Mailed off my table registration form and check yesterday. I can't back down after that, I now have to go through with this and see what happens. Lets hope its good. Next up is tax forms, will probably tackle them next week after I recover from my wisdom tooth extraction enough to see clearly. At least then when I grit my teeth I'll be gritting gauze and not hurting myself.
I also bought a cash box, hopefully my dad will help me paint it lime green or some other blinding color that will make it identifiable in case of theft. I was going to get a munitions box from the army surplus store but the latches on them were a bit tough and some people who will be helping with the table can't even hold two gallons of milk or open jars, it seemed prudent to go the normal route.
Maybe I'll use a munitions box to hold spare ink and stuff, since I really don't want anyone messing with the inner workings of my printer but me. The way to Hell may be paved with good intentions but I don't want any marked 'I just wanted to help Lissa print something' adding itself to the path.
Enh, rambled, now back to working on pictures, maybe I'll go to bed before 3 am. That'd be a nice change.
