Well I'm home. I got in late last night and just didn't care to try to make any legible post.

So I've met my dad's side of the family. Interesting, it appears sarcasm is genetic, which is good to know. The whole thing went better than I expected, except for the part where I lost my epensive-Seiko-that-belonged-to-my-dead-grandmother-watch.

My mom was upset because it's her dead mom's watch and I was upset because not only that but it was also probably a nicer watch then I'd ever be able to afford on my own and was rather attached to it. We found it two days later, right where it fell; on it's side in a patch of grass , on the edge of a hill, on my family's old homestead on the edge of Sieling, Oklahoma. There had been rainstorm the night before and everything, despite this the watch works just as well as it always does.

Other then that the trip was uneventful, ran across the Masonic museum, the National Polka festival and a jazz banjo competition on the road. I also got to see alot of depressing wheatfields and have my dad go all John Steinbeck-ish on me. Oh yea, I also got to drive along the backroads, actually survived and did pretty good.

Well now I'm home and due to rain I'm not going to be working on the roof like Dad had wanted me to so I'm now feverishly doing convention preperation. Lacy and I cut out a pile of buttons tonight, I hope to finish up some more designs tommorow. I've also got one fanart to color and a couple other pieces to scan and work on. God willing everything will get finished.

Anyways, I'm going to brush my teeth, and go to bed, I'm still very very tired.
