Greetings from the land of college living.

To those of you who just tuned in, I previously was going to community college getting an Associates Degree of Art (I accomplished that and the President's List) and before that even I was going to a big State University a bit of ways from home.

I left the big school for various reasons I am not going to say (its been hashed and rehashed) I left there and after acomplished Associate-ness I enrolled into a teeny tiny state college an hour or so from home. Not having a car and disliking eternally being carted around like a sentient suitcase I managed to find some campus housing. I now spend majority of my time in a centrally located small dorm building on the corner of a rather busy intersection in the middle of campus.

This is definately a step DOWN from my previous digs, which was a rather swank campus apartment. But hey, I'll live. Anyways, this new living arrangement also has me living in very close quarters with people I probably normally wouldn't bother with. Sometimes this is good and sometimes this is bad.

I'm in a few clubs right now and have people I talk to and eat lunch with and such so thats all cool. Sadly alot of them are freshmen so there tend to be some moments when they say something that jars me or reminds me just how young they are and how long it has been since this mad college experience stopped being bizarre to me. They nice and all but there are definately moments I feel old.

Now everyone can sigh and roll their eyes and proclaim the age difference between me and them is not that bad. But its not the actually passage of time, its the mindset. I've been looking after myself for a while now (while not financially independant), I've held a few jobs, and had to feed and clothe myself for a while, and I just feel older. These kids are fresh out of high school and invincible. I'm nothing resembling such, and haven't been for a while (not even when I was younger and stupid). But yea it's still an awkward state of being in constantly.

Anyways, philisophical ramblings aside, there is nothing to do in this town/campus on weekends (which for me start on Thursday) so I'm downloading Anime Music Videos.

Living the wild life I am.
