The snow, did not materialize as predicted. Instead we had some ice and cold. Slight disappointment but I've seen snow before and lots of it, so I'm not too upset.
In other news, I've been trying something new in trying to up my productivity. I sadly do A LOT of art work on the computer, which means that if my mind wanders many many lovely distractions on the internet are just an idle click away. So instead of getting something done I find I'm five links deep into TV Tropes or discovering new strange things in Echo Bazaar.
So recently I have added an app to my copy of Chrome, called Concentrate. It works like a timer that blocks all websites I have told it are distractions that I should not be let loose on. It's only been an afternoon and evening of using it but so far it is proving useful It forces me to do something besides surf the net feeling sorry for myself. So yay, progress.
Anyways onto the Art Posts, more work was done on The Project but nothing added to the blog. I've begun getting a few pages towards the state of completion. True this will soon quit and I'll have to go back to hashing out page layouts and script edits again, but hey, I got to color stuff!
So for the Nostalgia Card update, this week its my beloved Vampire Hunter D. I've had a soft spot for this franchise since high school. Karen and I watched the hilarious 80s version more times than I think either of us care to admit, and going to see the good 2000 movie is still an awesome memory. And the books are still something I pick up for nice light reading.
But with nostalgia in mind I decided to try my hand at the 1980s version of D. I'll probably draw D again with a better design later. But until then, voila.

( And progress of the Adventures of Sophie and the Robot Chess-master is here )
Anyways I'm off to shower and bed, I get to go ice skating tomorrow. I'll probably bust my ass, but hey, it will be an experience.
