Welp another week, more art, more boredom.

More wonderland concept sketches. Caterpillar still not quite right, and a card guard, also needs some work.
I recently opened up an old box of mine filled with a pile of comics and stuff from my early geek days. Overcome by some lack of anything better to do and nostalgia I've decided to use a pack of Artist Trading Cards to document my fandom/obsessions from those dark times.
And so with that I bring you a few of these cards.
Allen Schezar from Escaflowne seemed like a no brainer to start this off. This was my first anime series ever and Allen was my first fictional character obsession. I'll probably draw a few more folks from this series cause I am still fond of it.
The next cards I did at my friend Lacy's place. She helped me compile a list of all the crap that we all read/watched in high school including some stuff I'd rather have forgotten and plead ignorance of. Anyways, she reminded me that we did in fact hang out and watch the Slayers at her place on VHS (ah the old days) and I even read some of the novel translations online. So here we are, Lina Inverse and Zelgadis (I sadly had to google to make sure I spelled his name right.)

And also to prove that I have been working on stuff besides waxing nostalgic here are some messy drawings of Spider. His design always drives me nuts, I'm trying to get to a point I can draw him without having to second guess it all the time. Still not at this point.

Also more page layouts on The Project - I think I'm sort of getting the hang of this.
