Forgot my Claritin and Lacy misplaced the family sized bottle of Allegra on Friday but the allergies stayed on the low down most of the time.
Car trip was fun on the way up and just boring on the way back. The car gave us some battery and alarm issues when we tried to leave the hotel but we had no problems during the drive. We all warbled along with the cd player. All of us dorks knew the lyrics to the entire Chicago soundtrack, so that was very fun.
First off, Lacy and Jamie shared a room with Fireball and her friend, who turned out to be some of the nicest sweetest people ever. Seriously, if I didn't already feel like I owe Fireball for the prints we seriously owe her for helping us get the hotel to fix up the car. And the five bucks for tipping, dude that was going above and beyond kick-ass-ness.
Saw hentai for the very first time ever. I don't think I'll discuss it. I went more for the crowd of people (which was awesome) then for the actual hentai (more people went to mock it and heckle the screen than actual jerking off). Ended up sitting next to and chatting with a nice guy, he asked me if I could draw Vampire Hunter D (also if I knew who that was). It was so great, it was like 'oh D? dude, ROCK ON yea sure here you go'.
Loot wise I'm so happy, I got a Yoshitaka Amano artbook that even my mom agreed was gorgeous. I also found some awesome Gankutsuou loot, found the Complete Art Book, a kick ass poster (thats hopefully not too mangled) and a pencil board. Bought an XxxHolic pencil board, will probably use it for markering purposes. Also got a cute kitty hat, a Totoro plushie and a mini secret agent cthulu (who is ten times more random and cooler then the average cthulu. Probably forgetting some stuff but I'll figure that out later.
Bought the Vampire Hunter D book and raced against Karen to see who would finish reading it first.
Ordered a movie one style, book colored Ravenclaw scarf from some awesome people. The scarves are knitted by this guy who looks like he belongs either on the back of a Harley or at a ren-fest. I don't know when my scarf will show up, it could be from three weeks to months. Also aquired some secret suprise for my brother-in-law, something so awesome I had to photograph it to document its exsistence. Though if he doesn't want, I'll keep it for myself and be damn happy.
