More Random Posts from School
Well I've got an hour and twenty minutes between classes so I'm killing time before I have to trundle over to Government class.
So, according to my bank Oni-Con received and cashed my check. The fact I had to call the bank instead of the con informing me when it came in like I asked is a bit vexing. But hey, it got there, I'll start splitting hairs if I get there and they claim I have no table.
Shadow of the Vampire was a decent movie but hardly the comedy advertised. In fact I found myself horrified and saddened by the movie more than amused. William Dafoe played a good Orlock, though he seemed so sympathetic in comparison to the director.
I looked up the film on Internet Movie Database to find out if anyone else found the movie not funny. I found five million posts saying 'you must remember that this film is 25% comedy'. However no posts were saying 'I laughed so hard etc.' Saying something is funny and having to remind one its supposed to be funny does not a comedy make.
Work is irritating me right now, with my job making me work all week to make up for my missed time I'm going straight from classes to work and then home to eat a real meal and poke at my study guides, draw some and then fall asleep at 2:30 - 3am only to wake up at 7am or (on lucky days) 10am to get up and continue the cycle.
Regardless of my fiscal situation I can not work any more days then three a week and stay sane. They are desperate for volunteers to work Saturday, it pays overtime and such, but I think I shall pass.
Anyways, I've been looking rather beat down, my biology professor looked worriedly at me after class and asked if I was still on the hydrocodone and what all. She didn't say it but a few hand gestures indicated that I apparently looked spaced out and drugged up. I probably have enormous bags under my eyes as well. Definately never working all week again.
Anyways, will have Friday and Saturday off, probably post some art then and watch some movies or something.
