lissa_quonSo I'm sitting around here waiting for the call from Lacy that means I head on over there and prepare for the celebrations to ring in the New Year. Considering how bad this year has been the celebrations can not come quick enough.
Around here we've had two major hurricaines. Evacuations to and from here, plans to build a highway straight through many local housing editions. Historical buidings in Galveston burned down, and major deaths from the monorail in Downtown Houston. Also the dreaded Black mold attack on the local elementary schools causing many of my friends and my childhood's to be gutted and rebuilt from the inside out. Thankfully no real flooding, though we have had the warmest winter beyond reason.
This year also saw my first shit job, first paycheck, my first checking account and general grown-up ness. Grown- It also saw my first anime conventions, both as a con-goer and as a table owner. Also saw me make my first hand full of money selling artwork, true a quarter of that was chibi Samara but anyways....
Ramblings aside, 2005 fare the well, don't let the door hit you in the ass. Many hopes that 2006 turns out a whole lot better.
