Well not much going on here, I've been playing with new stuff to try to sell at future conventions. My old work place is taking me back for a couple of shifts this week which is great for me. So right now stuff is good if boring.
I've also been playing many videogames. I am still knee deep in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and still enjoying it greatly. Lacy is also a damn enabler and introduced me to Psychonauts, which is one of those quirky games that manages to be awesome and fun beyond reason but still be a non-entity. I've spent most of Sunday and Monday's waking hours obsessively playing this and didn't even reach that critical mass point where you need to turn it off to take a break.
But yea, seriously folks if you haven't, look this game up. The main character is a psychic and most of the game play is wandering through various mental landscapes and finding out what makes people tick along the way. Oh yea, you also get to terrorize a city of fish in Godzilla fashion and set squirrels on fire. YOU GET TO SET SQUIRRELS ON FIRE. This seems to be a big selling point for most people so I mentioned it twice.
Anyways on to a picture post

Here is a prototype of the new stuff I'm working on for convention sales. These are shrinky dinks that I run through the printer and bake. I'm trying them out as key chains and cell phone charms. I didn't know how these shrink proportionally so we've started making these a bit smaller and being a bit more econimical on the beading. But I think I've got the sizing and such ironed out and barring any of my test group (friends and family who thought they were pretty and wanted one) having major issues I'm moving on to producing actual merchandise.

Psychonauts fanart that may or may not be done to see the light of day. I'm spoofing an old Godzilla poster, though I'm being a bit fast and lose with this one compared to other poster parodies I've done. The original poster has little background and the composition is really screwed up when the main figure doesn't have a tail to fill in the back.
