Happy New Year - 2009

lissa_quonWell 2008 is over with, for many this was a terrible year, for me it was no worse than usual. Now 2007 and I had many issues with each and I couldn't wait to see that year go.
But 2008 and I have little issues, we never talked to each other but there were no flaming bags of poo on my door step either. (As a native Houstonian I do not hold any hurricanes against the year, thats just par the course anymore.) This was a year that I actually enjoyed rather than spending six months or so in a slump and shivering like a battered house wife.
Well goodbye 2008 I'm hoping 2009 will be as decent to me as you were.
