My friends I stand before you, to tell the truth most dire

Earlier I thought my "art vacation" was only going to be for a few more days then I'd have a working tablet and CS4 along with the added bonus of being home with my scanner and large format printer. Apparently my order for CS4 is on back order (something JourneyEd neglected to let me know when it was ordered) and now no one can give me a straight answer as to when I'm supposed to get the dang thing in.

I'm slowly going abit loopy. I've sadly gotten dependent on both the tablet and Photoshop. In an effort to be more economical and save money on sketchbooks (which I go through voraciously) started last year to do almost all my preliminary work digitally and then printing and transferring the final sketch to bristol board or whatever I was going to work on. In fact much of what I had intended to try to work on this holiday is saved on my portable hard drive as a Photoshop file awaiting clean up and transfer to final.

I am quite enjoying my new computer and playing Knights of the Old Republic like a mad thing but when I come up for air I find myself wishing to work on stuff and not finding the pencil and paper not quite satisfying.

I fear this art vacation may end with me being very agitated.
