So my mopey butt forgot about the options of the GIMP*. I can get stuff done on it but I'm still greatly missing my beloved Photoshop, I have been using it for years now and GIMP feels weird in comparison. But hey, I can actually draw something for a change, which is rather nice.

I'm currently in the middle of downloading a trial version of Photoshop to work as a stand in for a while until my order comes in. Sadly I've been waiting for the download for such a long time this evening I'm probably just going to install it and then...install the sequel to Knights of the Old Republic and see if that gets along better with my new machine than the first one does**.




*the GIMP, Graphic Image Manipulation Program, that may not have been named intentionally is a freeware program that many use as an easy alternative to Photoshop if they don't have 700 dollars or a registration key  generator handy.
** I still love KOTOR and would love to finish it, but the game has a bad habit of getting stuck at certain areas in the game where my only solution is to skip that bit entirely. Sadly I've gotten to a point where I can't skip and have gotten to the rather satisfying plot climax of mind fuckery so I shall move on.
