lissa_quonThis has been a fairly eventful week, though I have little to actually SHOW for it.
I spent part of this week working on commission work and the rest of the week on comic pages. Still no production blog update yet since I'm still working on finished pages. Soon I'll get sick of inking and coloring and go back to page layouts or something. I've also been kicking around and started working on setting up an online shop. I think I found a decent solution to my needs at this time and will try to get that set up soon.
So for this week I sadly present a meager art post.
Not the best piece ever, I was trying out some things - like drawing birds...which I apparently fail at.
A magpie - a request from a friend over chat. The magpie is the animal form of a Pooka she used to play in a game of Changeling: The Dreaming that I used to run. She like all pookas can't be trusted, and like most magpies is fond of nicking anything that reflected the light. It's kind of sad I'm not running the game anymore cause I just know that key is a hook to trouble.
More practice and fail on Spider. Stilling playing with text, and how to lay it out. Hand lettering is not an option for me since my handwriting is horrible. I have no idea what he found Tannis drinking but odds are its not fit for human consumption.
Surprisingly unrelated drawing, done on a different night. I was listening to Chumbawumba's A Man Walks into a Bar, the chorus amused me for some reason and so I got this. I've actually been listening to a LOT of Chumbawumba lately, I find it kind of funny that one of the few bands I can stand from my younger stupider years is of course, the band of vocal anarchists.
Anyways, thats all for this week. Now for bed.
