In Which Lissa Makes a Painful Decision

I'm working on an Arabian Nights type story project, its not for profit, or for school its for my own amusement. After working on it for a while I've come to the conclusion my typically slacking off style of drawing isn't the best thing for this piece.

So I'm now doing what I've been loathe to do for years; sit down and start learning realism, again from scratch. Copying from photographs, following proportions, the whole shpeal.

This is going to be the acid test, will I be able to do this, stretch my boundries and get off my lazy ass?

This is probably going to painful.
