Jan. 13th, 2004 07:33 pmWell I now have a kitten. Long story behind it really but lets just sa that my friend Karen's sister's cat had kittens and they needed to get rid of them.
So now I have an eleven week old kitten thats currently being called Mortimer [after Mortimer Brewster from Aresnic and Old Lace]. We've only had him for two days or so, so he still misses his siblings and only seems to sleep when someones nearby. In fact he's dozing in my lap currently and purring like their no tommorow. Or at least he was until he started twicthing in his sleep and in my worry I woke him to make sure he was alright. Hes so adorable at this second, I'd take pictures if my digital camera wasn't across the room. Aw, there hes asleep again.
Anyways I'm going to try to stop babbling on about the cuteness of the critter in my lap right now and fill in the details of my past week or so. Though now that I think about it theres not much to tell.
Last Thursday my English class had a sub that sounded and acted like a British flight attandant, He wore a dark blue blazer and slacks. He checked everyone's name at the door as we entered and then talked about how much of an honor it was to sub for this class and then during class he went around and made sure everyone was doing alright during our video of Hamlet then afterwards thanked us for our cooperation and said goodbye indivdually to everyone as they filed out. It was very surreal first thing in the morning.
