lissa_quonSo...it appears I am probably going to be out of town for a few days, hopefully JUST a FEW DAYS, to see a side of the family I've never seen or heard from before.
It seems to be a very geriatric side of the family tree. So I'm anticipating lots of sitting in the corner of a room drawing and smiling and nodding as lots of people tell me how tall I am and inform me that my hair is red. Thankfully I always carry my tiny ghetto ass mp3 player and my sketchbook and pencil in my purse in the event of such events. With abit of luck I can maybe fit my pencil bag in there too.
HOWEVER, After I get back I am intending to have a Slave labor party. Which means I call up anyone I can find and get them and their ass over here with a pair of scissors and put them to work cutting out button pieces and laminating. I'll probably be in my room (which will have to be tidied a teensy bit) nursing my poor little printer along printing out stuff I'll hopefully have done during the road trip.
So people I know in this area? Be aware of this, sharpen your scissors and await my sign. I'll probably run some Mel Brooks or Monty Python that everyone has seen for background noise. Also be aware that I am also hoping to feed you people. This will also probably serve as a farewell party of sorts since I do not expect to have much time after the con to say goodbye to everyone as I prepare to leave for Oklahoma.
