lissa_quonWell, I finished my finals, I'm now officially on vacation. Tommorow I get to sleep in, do launday, call the damn school help desk, plan next semester's classes, empty the litter box etc etc. But after those things get done I get to do art work to my heart's content.
I want to work on that black and white inking technique for the twenties mess. I also need to script that out this vacation as well.
I've got that watercolor stuff I've been waiting for so long to use. I've also recently been pondering mixing watercolors with oil pastels and see what happens.
Anyways art wise;
I'm happy with this one, her expression has changed quite a few times but I'm liking it right now, Lacy keeps complaining about uneven pigtails and such but ah well. I've got the companion piece to this one designed, it involves a croquet mallet.
I'm personally not happy with this, but Lacy is, so I guess thats alright, I really need to get some better toning stuff
done over Thanksgiving, later was photoshopped into the wanted poster, not much to say besides I want to play with watercolors some more
done while I was in drivers ed, I think I was trying to channel the guy who illustrates the Lemony Snicket books, the text in the banner reads "I'm gonna sing the doom song now"
