So the reservations are made and everything for the con, the cost of the room plus my entry fee clears out my little savings. I'm looking at going to the con practically broke. I've filled out applicatiobs all over the place and gotten little more than e-mail spam in response.

I'm broke, so very broke, no one will hire me for a job and I can't even try hawking my art for money since PayPal requires a credit card which I don't have to start an account.
