DefCon rambles
Aug. 8th, 2008 11:27 pmSo the tropical storm ended up being nothing, which is always a possibility around here. You live in Houston long enough you learn just to prepare and see what happens. Some times you end up with a rain storm for five days flooding everything and others the storms blows apart in five hours.
Work however has been kicking my ass. I've been working eight hour shifts for four days straight and am more exhausted now than when I got back from DefCon. So its only tonight when I don't have to get up in the morning that I feel I can spare any energy to actually talk about the convention. ( Click for con rambles )
In short, I quite enjoyed the con, the 501st made my weekend, James O'Barr is nice and I'd very much like to go again if its at a time of year I could make it.
