So it's been a while since an update in here. I decided to fix that.

I survived my con season so far. Not much to say since it all sort of forms a blur. Doing two large consecutive conventions will do that to you I suppose. Thankfully I've got until August to rest, restock and recuperate.

I will say they went very well. Well mostly things went alright, one day I might share the story of The Business Card Debacle and the Tale of the Executive Suite That Never Was. But other than a few hiccups I had lots of fun and met lots of awesome folks. I also drew a lot of ponies. Boy howdy the amount of ponies we drew. It was sort of a relief to come home and draw stuff I wanted to do that was very much NOT a pony.

Speaking of ponies here's any art post.

So I'm sitting here at 6 in the morning listening to cheery cheery Jazz music while nursing my printers along to try to bulk up my print stock. My to-do list is miles long and I have no idea where it ends. Con season is here, and it is here in full force.

Me and the apprentice have a convention at the end of next week. We (at least I was I do not know about the apprentice) are sort of caught flat footed on this since we were sitting on the waiting list fat dumb and happy, not expecting to be called, our next convention a blissful happy safe two months away. Our number got called and we couldn't come up with a reason to say no, so here we are scurrying to get everything sorted and handled. Her with school and me with my mom's doctor's appointments, my job doubling my hours for this week and other rot.

Anyways, while I'm panicking and chasing tail lets have some art posts.

And still nothing new for the print books )

Well I think I've finished up all the printing I can do for the moment. So I'm going to slump over into bed for a bit before I go out and run the 500 errands I need to run.

Greetings, life on this end has been rather hilariously hectic.

2012 has pretty much come in to my life with fists swinging.

After the holidays I got a horrible cold that was like the hokey pokey of colds. It'd get in my head and sniffle and then when my head cleared up my lungs got congested and then when I thought I had the lungs handled it went back to my head. I ended sleeping through four or five days pouring hot liquids and decongestant down my throat whenever I was awake enough to hold a mug.

And then some family medical stuff happened that I'm not going to go into, that sort of threw everything else for a loop. It's still not done, its just building right now.

On the plus side my brain is clearing out all the mental cobwebs and cranking out some ideas. True most of those ideas I can't use for conventions or anything but, still this is a lot better than the depressive funk I was in during December. Though now it leaves me very much tired in a "there are not enough hours in the day for all the thinks I have to draw and write" sense. But hey, some of it MIGHT see the light of day.

That being said, have some art I'm working on.

Not sure where this came from or where it's going but its fun to work on between commission stuff. Hopefully I'll figure out a background for this and throw it in the print book at some point.

Okay, so it's been damn near a month since I've posted on livejournal. Apparently theres been some new layouts and such, I haven't noticed them yet. I'm sure I'll be filled with rage with the rest of you when I finally encounter them.

Sorry about the lack of presence on here guys, I've been very busy and worn out from the holidays and my retail job. Tumblr is easy to keep up on, just fav a few things, reblog some others but livejournal posts take a bit more energy and more to say.

Not much to say on this front, my holiday plans are fairly quiet, see some friends, some pizza, and play some TF2.

But as an apology have some art. I got a new scanner as an early Christmas present but haven't gotten a chance to set it up yet so there's not much to post.

On that note, have a Krampus.
I normally try to do a happy Christmas image that gets used for Christmas cards (if I do cards that year.)
This year...I wasn't really feeling goodwill towards men or the magic of Christmas and all. So Krampus is what ended up being done for this year.

I haven't been doing much personal work lately, been focusing mainly on commission work so what little personal work I did get done is practice/warm up/studies to get back on working on The Project. So with that said, here we go.

Click on for the finished piece on dev-art
The preview on here isn't the complete final final version.

More of Tannis and the Ropemakers Daughter. Not sure why I drew this one but it was a nice exercise and it was strangely soothing to work on.
